Kelsey Hammon, M.A., CCC-SLPFounder and Speech-Language Pathologist
Kelsey is the founder and owner of Kelsey Speech. She is a licensed and ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist, who serves children with speech and language delays and disorders. Kelsey has worked in a variety of settings including public schools, home-based, and private practice. Her areas of expertise include: assessment and treatment of articulation and phonological disorders, childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), expressive and receptive language impairments, tongue thrust, and hearing differences. Kelsey has extensive experience in providing early intervention to young children. She is passionate about partnering with family members to stimulate and foster speech and language development and build functional communication through play.

Kelsey obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from UC Santa Cruz and her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from San Jose State University. She received specialized training regarding hearing loss technologies and strategies for developing listening and spoken language as well as a total communication approach using sign language. Kelsey strongly believes in collaborating with other professionals and involving families to provide an individualized and holistic approach to treatment. As a parent of two, Kelsey is able to relate and better serve families and the children she works with. She is a Bay Area native who enjoys traveling, yoga, running (after her children :-p), trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
